Our Staff

Thomas Bry, Owner

Thomas has been the owner and operator of The Enrichment Garden since February 2009. With his background in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Healthcare Administration, Thomas handles the day to day operations of the business along with all insurance related issues. Thomas began The Enrichment Garden as an extension of a dream my mom already had in place; to offer a place for all children of any stage in life to help them succeed and become the greatest members of society. Thomas is proud of all the professionals that we have here at The Enrichment Garden and believe we have the best program in the area. In his free time he enjoys spending time on the river, spending time with friends and family, and traveling as much as possible.

Aundrea Van Rooyen, Occupational Therapist

Aundrea was born and raised in Bismarck, ND. She graduated from University of Mary with a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy in 2009. Aundrea has a passion for working with pediatrics from birth to 18. Aundrea has experience with the SOFFI feeding method and Craniosacral. Aundrea enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors, and traveling. Aundrea join the Enrichment Garden in 2017.

Kassandra Griffin, Director of Occupational Therapy

Kassandra was born and raised in rural North Dakota. She graduated with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Seton Hall University in New Jersey in 2014 and moved back to ND to join The Enrichment Garden. Kassandra has a passion for working with children to reach their full potential as well as working closely with caregivers to promote development. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, curling and helping out on her family’s ranch.

Shannon Welle Bry, 3-5 Year Old Coordinator

Shannon has been a part of The Enrichment Garden family since fall of 2010, first as a teacher, later as a mother and now both. Shannon has a bachelors in Literature with a Theatre Minor from Saint Mary’s University in Winona, MN. Shannon, together with her husband, Erik, have two little girls. Shannon and her family enjoy camping and being on the river in the summer. During the winter Shannon enjoys snuggling up with a hot cup of tea and a good book, while dad plays outside in the snow with the kids.

Jessica Engelhardt, Assistant Director

Jessica has been a member of The Enrichment Garden family since the Fall of 2011. Jessica moved to Bismarck in 2009 from Southern California to play softball for the University of Mary. Jessica graduated in 2013 with a Bachelors in Education with minors in Theology and Mathematics. Jessica and her husband, Collin, have three children, all of which are part of The Enrichment Garden family as well. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys reading, hiking, kayaking, and playing and learning alongside with her children.

Shannon Leingang, 0-2 Year Old Coordinator

Shannon has been part of The Enrichment Garden family since January 2016. Shannon grew up in the wonderful country town of Menoken where her family raised sheep, horses, cows, dogs and cats. In 2000 Shannon graduated from Century High School and in 2002 graduated from Bismarck State College with a Business Administration Degree. Shannon resides in Bismarck with her two beautiful girls, Hailey and Shelby. Shannon’s hobbies include riding horse, scrapbooking, camping, traveling, gardening, raising animals at her parent’s and uncle’s farm, spending time with her family and friends, and raising her beautiful children.

Blakeley Brobst, Preschool Director

Blakeley has been working with children for over half of her life. Blakeley graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Minor in Special Education in the Spring of 2014. In May 2014 Blakeley started working full time at The Enrichment Garden. Blakeley believes that each child is a best-selling novel just waiting to be written; and every day is an open book full of learning and experiences.

Kelly Wolfe, Occupational Therapy Assistant

Kelly was raised in Rugby, North Dakota. Kelly attended North Dakota State School of Science and graduated with an associate degree in Occupational Therapy. Kelly has previously worked in Rugby and Minot. Kelly joined the team at The Enrichment Garden in October 2015. Kelly enjoys traveling and visiting with family and friends. Kelly has 3 grown daughters and looks forward to her first grandchild in 2018.

Alicia Hansen, Occupational Therapist, Clinic Lead

Alicia received her Bachelors Degree in Biology and her Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Mary here is Bismarck. Alicia enjoys working with the pediatric population; especially hearing the challenges and successes of our clients. Alicia and her husband Kelly have two wonderful sons, Krew and Dax. Alicia enjoys any outdoor activity (hiking, boating, running), chasing around her kids, and spending time with her family in Montana and South Dakota.

Anne Bry, Director of Therapy Services

Anne graduated from Moorhead State University with a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Anne has training in oral myofascial therapy. Anne specialized in infant oral motor development and its relationship to breastfeeding and bottle feeding. Anne is also trained in the SOS Feeding Therapy and Beckman Oral Motor Assessment/Intervention.

Anne’s experience includes working in public schools, early childhood intervention sites, private schools, pediatric rehabilitation hospitals, as well as pediatric and adult traumatic brain injury sites. Anne has performed treatment of pediatric feeing aversion, apraxia, disorders related to cleft lip and palate, receptive language disorders, expressive language disorders, aural rehabilitation, stuttering, dysphagia, and social communication language disorders in infants, toddlers, preschool children, school-aged children, as well as young adults.

In addition to her work as a Speech Language Pathologist, Anne serves on the Cleft lip and Palate team providing team intervention approach to families of children with cleft lip and palates. Anne is an active member of the Bismarck Sertoma Club who are committed to speech and hearing needs within our community. Anne was honored as Sertoman of the Year for her dedication to this cause. Anne has been a guest speaker in the topic or oral motor development to surrounding hospitals and medical support staff. She has also been a guest presenter at The American Speech and Hearing Association national convention in regards to the team approach for social communication within the childcare setting.

For the past 25 year Anne has focused her clinical skills on treating younger clients with issues in feeding, dysphagia, deglutition, oral sensory aversion, swallowing related disorders, as well as articulation, phonological processing, apraxia, early childhood intervention, stuttering and social language issues among preschool and school-aged children.

Anne is an honorary member of the International Association or Orofacial Myology (AIOM), holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence with the American, Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), and is a member of the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association.

Monica Allard, Speech Pathologist

Monica joined The Enrichment Garden team in 2016. Monica is from El Paso, Tx and moved to the Bismarck area to be closer to family. Monica earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at El Paso in 1993. Monica has a passion for working with children and supporting them to reach their fullest potential. This leg to a career change and she earned a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Texas Woman’s University in 2013. Monica is married and has two grown sons. Monica enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and being outdoors.

Erica Becker, Physical Therapy Lead

Erica is a native of Bismarck, ND. Erica graduated in 2007 from the University of Mary with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Erica has experience in orthopedics, work related injury, ergonomics, and pediatrics. Erica enjoys watching children succeed through creative play, hard work, and determination. Erica is a lover of life and laughter, who enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Erica has been a part of the Enrichment Garden team since 2017.
